 The Godly Woman "is God's Woman" CD Who do you want to be when you grow up? Sadly getting older does not guarantee maturity. It has been said, "We become who we are becoming". We live in a world where there are a thousand voices that pull us, distract us, discourage us and destroy us. So where do we go? What can we do? But it is important to know - the picture that He wants to give us is not just about what she does - but who she is. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

As you open God's Word, pause and ask Him to open your spiritual eyes to see wonderful things and open your ears to His voice as He speaks to your heart. Personalize the pace. Be realistic about your journey. You may decide to just read through the New Testament portion this year. It is better to be consistent that to be overwhelmed. Paper and pen. If you pick up a pen, ready to write, you have put yourself in the mode to "pay attention". What you are saying to God and yourself is that you expect God to show you something or say something in His Word that is worth writing down and remembering.
 Wisdom for Women CD "Wisdom that comes from above is first of all pure; then peace-loving, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy" James 3:17. Wisdom is defined in the dictionary as "understanding of what is true, right or lasting". Synonyms are prudence, astutness, reason, clear thinking,good judgment, practical knowledge, carefulness, vigilance, tact, balance and stability. Antonymns of wise and wisdom are; careless, rash, unthinking, foolish and even stupid. These seem harsh descriptions, but God Himself, uses these terms in Proverbs to help us see the result of neglecting or rejecting His wisdom or counsel in our lives and choices. We live in a foolish world. We as women are bombarded daily with foolish wisdom regarding our concept of life, ourselves, our families, and our attainment of fulfillment. Debbi takes the Proverb for the day from the One Year Bible (Tyndale) and shares practical ways of how it applies to us as women living today. each segment is only 2 minutes, but is filled with helpful instruction, encouragement, exhortation and comfort.
